Thanks for visiting my portfolio. I’m Adam Findlay, a Lead Game Designer based in Yorkshire with over 12 years of industry experience and more than 20 titles shipped across PC, Console, and Mobile. I hold a 1st class BSc (Hons) in Game Design from Leeds Metropolitan University.
Currently, I am a Lead Game Designer at Sumo Digital, where I lead design efforts on multiple high-profile projects. I’ve had the privilege of working across a diverse range of genres within AAA, AA and Indie. My current role involves overseeing the design teams, shaping the vision, and ensuring the successful execution of game mechanics, systems, and player experiences.
Previously, I served as Lead Game Designer on Worms Rumble at Team17, where I guided the team in creating the first-ever 32-player, real-time version of the Worms franchise. I led the design and development for its multi-platform release across PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, Steam, Epic, and Game Pass.
In addition to Worms Rumble, I led the R&D team on Team17’s cross-play system, working closely with first-party platform holders to create a unified system across multiple titles, allowing players to manage, friend, invite, and play with others across all platforms.
