Spent two years working on Overcooked! 2 from pre-production to release and beyond, contributing to both the base game and most subsequent DLC updates. Played a key role in shaping the game’s core elements and post-launch content, helping to build a lasting and enjoyable experience for players.
Designed and implemented multiple core story mode levels, ensuring they were engaging, challenging, and aligned with the overall gameplay vision. Created levels that tested players’ teamwork and coordination, key to the fun and chaos of Overcooked! 2.
Owned the design and implementation of the interactive Food Van menu system, including multiplayer kitchen systems for both local and online play. Improved the player experience by creating an intuitive and seamless interface for managing parties.
Led world map design and implementation, including the unlock and progression systems, ensuring a smooth and rewarding player journey. Created a world map that guided players through increasing difficulty and offered a sense of progression as they advanced through the game.
Conceived and designed the Hangry Horde DLC horde mode, including gameplay design, implementation, and balance, alongside bespoke level designs tailored for it. Added a unique game mode that brought fresh excitement and challenges to Overcooked! 2, providing players with new ways to play.
Worked on gameplay, level design, and implementation for the Campfire Cookoff and Surf ‘n’ Turf DLC packs, introducing additional content that extended the game's replayability. Designed new gameplay mechanics and levels that expanded the variety and fun of the game for players after launch.
Provided post-launch support on free seasonal updates, including gameplay design, level design, implementation, and balancing. Contributed to the ongoing success of the game by delivering fresh content that kept players engaged long after release.
