Worked on The Escapists 2 from the start of production through to launch, contributing to various gameplay, UI/UX, and systems designs for the PC and Console versions of the game. Played a key role in shaping the core mechanics and systems that defined the game’s engaging experience for players.

  • Owned and designed the multiplayer system, enabling seamless cross-prison drop-in, drop-out play for both local and online players.
    Ensured a smooth and enjoyable multiplayer experience, allowing players to easily join and leave games, whether playing with friends or online.

  • Designed and implemented the quest system, including quest design and integration into the game. Created engaging and rewarding objectives for players, enhancing the overall depth and replayability of the game.

  • Led UI/UX and controls design and implementation, ensuring the user interface and control scheme were intuitive and responsive for both solo and multiplayer play. Focused on creating a streamlined, player-friendly interface that facilitated easy navigation and interaction, improving the overall user experience.

  • Owned the PC level editor post-launch, working with a cross-discipline team to develop a seamless and accessible tool for players to build, play, and share their own prisons on Steam Workshop. Delivered a user-friendly level editor that empowered players to express their creativity and share custom content, further extending the game’s longevity.
